confetti system

so for a long time i was in love with the confetti system. its cool to see them branch out and add things to their signature garlands. i felt a bit bad diying this but hey no one can always shell out the moola for a confetti system.  im not sure why but i cant see anything on their website. theyve done stuff for weddings of course, jcrew and others
materials:
1. sheets of tissure paper
2. sheets of metallic tissue paper
3. scissors
4. rope
i was lazy and would try to cut the whole pack of tissue paper at once. its probably not a good idea if you like precision. i cut slits that reached over the halfway mark, one inch apart
then you take two pieces of the tissue paper and lay them so that the uncut part overlaps
next i would loosely roll the paper up, careful the tassel part can get tangled.
then the fun and tiring part begins. twisting! make an opening wide enough to fit your rope through. its hard to explain but once you start twisting you will get the gist. you basically have to twist the two ends one way and twist the ends individually the opposite way. this helps the tassle stay together without glue or adhesive.
and then voila! one tassle for the garland.
when you complete the tassles you can then arrange them in any color scheme you like. string them onto the rope and hang!
finished product pictures next time!
