halloween came and went just like that. we actually didnt really dress up or do anything yesterday. i was too lazy to even get kodys costume out of storage. we did dress up on saturday for a party. we were the candyland girls from
katy perry's california girls video. there are actually a lot of great costumes in the video but we chose this scene.
i took about a day to make all the peppermints, cupcakes, strawberries and candy dots. i used a lot of felt and quickly sewed each together. we then took a bit of time together to sew the sweets onto a bikini top. we each wore some shorts and voila!
i bought some jean shorts from forever for $10 then bought some glitter fabric pant and fabric glitter. it says its washable but after the wash, most of the glitter fell off =[ my cupcake frosting is made of pink tulle. for the cherries i just made small pom poms.
